Vilike.fi is growing up – just like our kids. We don’t want to create digital content that just hypnotises children; we want content that makes them giggle, wiggle, wonder, and learn! That’s why we’re turning vilike.fi into a playground where teachers and tech creators can dream up and develop better digital tools together.
Instead of the passive “tap, watch, repeat” experience, we’re aiming for an active “listen, laugh, move, do, and imagine!” effect. We believe that the best educational technology is born when teachers’ everyday classroom wisdom and parents perspective meets playful design and safe AI developed with rules and regulations. Vilike.fi is becoming a place where you can share ideas, test early concepts, and see them turn into real tools for children and learning.
As an example, we would like to introduce our first solution: Lumi, a safe AI companion helping children grow through interactive digital play and fun, gamified learning. Lumi doesn’t just sit on the screen; instead, Lumi talks, listens, tells stories, and invites children to join in on the activities. Growl like a bear, sing your favourite song, and calm down with cosy bedtime tales. The core of Lumi is built on Finnish pedagogy and Scandinavian values. Lumi is designed to be safe, kind, and a little bit goofy, like the best playmate on a snowy day!
The next step is to help Lumi become an interactive mobile game for truly active screen time. Think movement adventures, quick quiz moments, playful stories, and small real‑life missions that send kids out to the world for more offline play. Lumi’s goal is to turn short moments with a phone or a tablet into chances to practise confidence, curiosity, and everyday learning skills in the real world – not just sit still and stare.
There are no ads, no dark tricks, and no “just one more” manipulation tactics. Just one simple subscription for parents who want digital time that actually does some good. Our focus is on a child‑first design, clear guardrails, and experiences that feel more like a friendly conversation than a noisy content feed.
